Welcome To Verbum Veritas: Media for the Church

Verbum Veritas is a publishing ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Murray, Kentucky.  The mission of Verbum Veritas is to publish, promote, and make available theological media (print, audio, and video) for the Church at large, as well as, to reprint classic works that have served the Church well in the past.

Verbum Veritas is part of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and as such, it reflects the beliefs of a congregation which is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS - see www.lcms.org).  A brief synopsis of the confession which would be found within our publications is as follows:

The Inspiration and the Authority of the Bible (meaning it is the Word of God without error); The Historic Creeds of the Church (the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasius Creed); The Existence of One God in Three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; The Creation of the Human Race in the Image of God;  The Fall and Resultant Human Depravity; The Deity of Jesus Christ, His Incarnation, Atoning Death, and Resurrection; Salvation by Grace Alone through Faith Alone; One Holy Christian Church, the Body of Christ.
